The Three Principal Powerlifting Exercises

The former vice president of Cardinal Builders, construction industry leader Michael (Mike) Lelasher also has a successful history in competitive powerlifting. Michael Lelasher has ranked third in his powerlifting class in the state of Ohio for the past five years.

When it officially recognized powerlifting as a competitive sport in 1965, the Amateur Athletic Union also established its three principal exercises: the squat, the bench press and the deadlift. A test of strength for the leg and gluteal muscles, the squat involves extending the legs to stand upright from a squatting position while holding a weighted bar across the shoulders. The bench press works the muscles of the chest, shoulder, and upper arm as the athlete lies faceup on a bench and pushes a weighted bar up from the chest to a full arm extension. Finally, the deadlift tests hamstrings and the back muscles with a movement that involves lifting a weighted bar off the ground from a standing position with the arms, standing fully erect with the bar before placing it or dropping it back on the ground.

Things to Consider during Preconstruction Planning

An experienced Ohio builder, Michael “Mike” Lelasher has worked extensively in the construction and renovation industry, including as vice president of Cardinal Builders. In that role, besides implementing growth strategies and working closely with field superintendents, Michael Lelasher coordinated preconstruction activities.

Preconstruction planning allows contractors to optimize the entire construction process before it begins. Activities include defining the project and identifying risks, scheduling the scope of work, and cost estimation. Coordinators can use this process to improve construction efficiency, boost communication, and save on both time and energy. Contractors should also establish the ideal processes and software needed to accomplish the project.

To maximize efficiency, an audit of current preconstruction processes should be done in order to discover any weaknesses that need to be addressed. An audit helps coordinators put in place the best strategies to optimize construction planning in order to realize better results. Discussing the process with the entire team is the best way to identify strengths and weaknesses, as well as determine methodologies for how to best store and optimize project data.

As various project components are finalized during preconstruction, an efficient project management plan should then be deployed to help keep track of the entire project. For instance, coordinators can schedule key construction activities based on climatic conditions such as rainfall. This way, it’s possible to plan adequately for key deliverables such as completing the foundation and footing before commencement of rains.

A Beginner’s Guide to Powerlifting

Michael "Mike" Lelasher studied business management at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus. Between 2004 and 2010, Michael Lelasher was the vice president of Cardinal Builders, headquartered out of Columbus, Ohio. During his free time, he competes in powerlifting competitions and is currently ranked number three in the state.

Powerlifting is a strength sport that involves the same three core lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Powerlifting aims to increase one's physical strength by attempting to lift as much weight as possible in each lift. Knowing the basics to get the most out of powerlifting is essential.

A key element of successful powerlifting is having access to proper equipment and training facilities. Powerlifting usually involves specialized barbells, plates, and accessories for lifting heavy weights safely. If something goes wrong during the lift, one should also ensure sufficient training space with appropriate padding and safety equipment, such as spotter stands or bars.

Besides using equipment properly, nutrition is another important factor in powerlifting performance. Eating nutrient-dense foods like lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats helps fuel muscle growth and gives you the energy you need for intense workouts. This is important when setting personal records on each lift or for extreme sports events like competitions. It is also important to stay hydrated by drinking water regularly throughout the day, especially during training sessions, to remain at peak performance while living a healthy lifestyle overall.

Lastly, any lifter wanting to start powerlifting must find a supportive environment. This sport requires a lot more dedication than other activities like running or cycling because of the physical demands it puts on your body and the long time it takes to learn all the techniques correctly before you can move up in weight. This is true whether you are naturally talented or not. Also, having help from family or friends who have competed in local gym meets or larger professional tournaments will be a huge help when breaking through tough plateaus, which every athlete has to deal with at some point.

A Beginner’s Guide to Scuba Diving

A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Michael “Mike” Lelasher is an experienced construction professional. Between 2004 and 2010, Michael Lelasher was the vice president of Cardinal Builders, which involved brainstorming growth, business strategy, goals, and action plans with the owner. Outside his work, he enjoys staying active by traveling, powerlifting, and scuba diving.

Scuba diving is an exciting sport that allows you to explore the ocean’s depths. It can be a thrilling experience, but going into it prepared is essential. This guide will give you the basics of scuba diving so you can prepare for your first dive.

The first step in scuba diving is to get certified. Scuba certification classes are available from certified organizations, such as PADI or SSI. These classes will teach you about scuba safety, primary equipment usage, and other crucial elements of successful dives. They also include pool sessions to practice your skills before venturing into open water. Certification courses last from one weekend to multiple weeks, depending on the instructor and your course type.

Learning how to use your dive equipment correctly is essential for safe dives. Before getting into the water, take some time to familiarize yourself with your gear to know how it works and its function underwater. Additionally, practicing proper technique helps divers conserve energy while underwater so they can stay down longer without running out of air too quickly. Proper technique includes using slow fin kicks and streamlining body movements while descending or ascending to reduce water drag. Finally, it would help to practice good buoyancy control by making slight adjustments throughout your dives to maintain neutral buoyancy.

Before getting into the water, it’s important to understand the safety rules and guidelines for scuba diving. You must always adhere to these rules to ensure your dives are safe. Some essential safety rules are never diving alone, staying away from dangerous marine life, learning how to use your gear correctly, keeping an eye on your underwater air supply, and staying within your limits.

Benefits of Low-E Glass Windows

A resident of Columbus, Ohio, Michael “Mike” Lelasher is a seasoned executive with experience in the construction and renovation industries. In his previous role as vice president of Cardinal Builders, Michael Lelasher was responsible for overseeing the operations of the company, some of which included managing projects related to insulation and window upgrades.

Low-emissivity (low-E) glass windows are a category of energy-efficient windows that comprise low-E glass fixed inside the window frames. Low-E glass has an invisible coating of metallic oxide, a material that prevents heat and harmful UV rays from passing through it while allowing the passage of visible light. Low-E glass windows prevent heat from the sun from radiating into a building and also reduce the amount of heat that leaves the building through the windows.

Low-E glass can help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures in summers and winters. In the summer, this window reduces heat gain and lowers the need for air conditioning, which cuts energy costs. In the winter, Low-E glasses can help reduce heat loss.

Low-E glass windows can be used for upgrading a building’s energy efficiency to satisfy the requirement for energy credits and other incentives for efficiency-centered improvements. These range from reductions in the cost of energy services to rebates.
